Sewing Class - Project Based
Description
Ruth will be taking the classes on Wednesday evenings 5-8pm, we have four domestic sewing machines available or you can bring your own. We also have an overlocker available. Scissors, thread, un-pickers, pins and tape measures are all supplied. The classes are held downstairs at Ruth Tate & co shop at 168 King Street, Newtown.
Ruth has a BA Hons in Fashion Design and Knitted Textiles and can help with all types of sewing.
Learn to alter a vintage garment or make one of your own, turn up a hem or sew buttons on. Make cushions or curtains, bring the project you want to work on. We have lots of scrap fabrics to practice on and vintage patterns available.
This is not a pattern making class
