DOGSTAR Tsukuro Coat

Worn by those who move between worlds.

The Tsukuro Coat is built in two parts that function as one. An inner body zips closed from waist to neck — structured, cropped, self-contained. From it, a floor-length outer shell falls open: wide at the shoulder, sweeping to the ground at the back, two long raw-edged straps extending from the sides like extensions of the garment's own logic. Wear it closed and wrapped, straps crossed and tied at the body. Leave it open and it moves differently — more volume, more presence, a silhouette that shifts with every step.

The fabrication changes across the body. A spray-finish treatment on the upper panels gives the shoulders and chest a darkened, almost lacquered depth. Below the waist, the cloth returns to its raw colour, falling heavy and uninterrupted to the floor.

There is no single way to wear the Tsukuro Coat. The straps can hang, wrap, cross, or be discarded entirely. The outer shell can be closed or open, structured or collapsed. Each configuration reads as a different garment.
